For the third part of this Fleet Management series, we discuss fleet-wide refactoring of code across thousands of Git repos at Spotify. We explore the tools and infrastructure built to enable fleet-wide refactoring, lessons learned, and the need for this approach in managing dependencies across our codebase. The goal is to empower engineers to make changes to our entire fleet of components at once, breaking down the barriers of individual repos and encouraging a fleet-first mindset.
