The .NET team presented a number of live video streams discussing the features for the next release of Blazor and .NET7. The hot reload support for Blazor WebAssembly has significantly improved in preview 7, and the ahead of time compilation for Blazor WebAssembly has become even faster. The team has also added additional crypto algorithm support and improved data binding and virtualization. There is now a new programming model for the navigation manager and improvements to the Blazor loading page, along with new templates allowing for a clean slate. There has been a lot of focus on Blazor hybrid support and Maui, which has taken longer than anticipated, meaning some original ambitions for .NET 7 may be delayed until .NET 8.
