OpenAI has demonstrated its new AI language model, GPT-4, in a live stream demo. The company has been developing the technology for several years and has spent the past two years focused on delivering GPT-4. OpenAI rebuilt its entire training stack and tested the model in real-world scenarios to optimise its behaviour and make it available for use. The live stream demo showed how to make GPT-4 more effective by demonstrating its ability to identify articles that feature a certain letter, summarise articles and combine different articles. The new model is expected to be a more powerful tool for language generation than its predecessor, GPT-3.
