Were excited to announce RustRover, our standalone IDE for Rust. After years of working on a Rust plugin for IntelliJ IDEA and CLion, weve listened to the community and developed an IDE specifically dedicated to Rust. Were launching the RustRover Early Access Program (EAP) and we invite you to try it out, provide feedback, and help us shape the product. RustRover will be free during Public Preview, with the final license model to be determined. Stay tuned for future updates as we aim to take JetBrainss Rust support to the next level. Download RustRover and join us on this journey towards a commercial release before September 2024. The existing open-source plugin will remain available on GitHub and the JetBrains Marketplace, but our focus will now be on RustRover as a closed-source IDE. RustRover can be installed as a plugin in IntelliJ IDEA Ultimate, and during the preview period, you can also install it in CLion. We are excited to bring you a dedicated IDE for Rust development!
