It is an open-source framework for human understanding, meaning, and progress. The project aims to make the things that matter to humans more transparent, discussable, and ultimately fixable. Substrate includes components such as ideas, problems, beliefs, models, frames, solutions, information sources, people, organizations, laws, claims, votes, arguments, funding sources, lobbyists, missions, donations, goals, and facts. Each component is maintained as a repository within Github under the Substrate Organization.
